About us: Our nursery is all on one level offering an opportunity for free flow outdoor play. The nursery is a cosy with one main playroom and two smaller rooms adjoining. Children can easily access all areas. The nursery is located close to St. Peter’s and St. Oswald’s primary schools with whom we have developed effective partnerships as our children usually move through to these local schools. About us: As our largest nursery, Little Stars at the Park has the biggest staff team. We have an effective mix of experienced practitioners with a varied skill set and we also have access to a range of facilities which enhance the nursery curriculum. Children enjoy regular Forest School sessions with nursery officers qualified as Level 3 Forest School leaders and also time in the community allotment. Learning about and growing their own food and herbs. Our nursery children also benefit from an onsite Wellness Space and Zen Zone. These areas are available for children’s yoga, mindful exercises, sensory story sessions and so much more!!

About us: We are proud of our facilities here at Little Stars Nursery at The Oaks. We have large rooms which can all be easily adapted to suit a range of creative play experiences. The manager and staff know the children very well, children have formed secure attachments and all children make good progress in their learning from their starting point. We are based inside a church, with lovely grounds with a natural outdoor environment. We have good relationships with the community and other agencies involved in children’s learning and care. Our relationships are firmly established in order to support children’s educational and care needs. We welcome any potential parents and children to visit us personally to see all aspects of the nursery first-hand, and we work on an “open door policy”, so there is no need to book an appointment – call in at any time.

A new Little Stars Nursery is in development for 3-5 year olds at our woodland at The Park Child and Family Centre in Accrington.
This is a unique opportunity for your child to learn and flourish in a natural woodland environment. Childcare will be provided by Adventure Hyndburn’s Little Stars Nursery practitioners, qualified and experienced in Early Years and Forest School leadership.
Children can have picnics in our picnic patch, enjoy story time on the story logs, sing songs in the magic circle and take part in woodland arts, crafts, and science in the woody workshop.
